In 2024 verscheen de bundel Alice Through the Looking-Glass. A Companion onder redactie van Franziska Kohlt en Justine Houyaux. Deze bundel bevat een groot aantal artikelen over Through the Looking-Glass die de neerslag vormt van de online conferentie Through the Looking-Glass Sesquicentenary in 2021. In oktober 2024 verscheen een bespreking van deze bundel in Phlizz: https://lewiscarrollgenootschap.nl/alice-through-the-looking-glass-a-companion/.

De bundel blijkt een succes en de uitgever Peter Lang heeft besloten om een vergelijkbare bundel uit te geven over Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland onder de titel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland: A Companion, wederom met Franziska Kohlt en Justine Houyaux als redactie.

Tot 15 mei as. kunnen voorstellen voor bijdragen aan deze bundel worden ingediend.

“This volume seeks fresh, cross-disciplinary perspectives on Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and its afterlives, inviting contributions to explore literary, historical, and interdisciplinary approaches.

We welcome proposals on topics including, but certainly not limited to:

• Wonderland’s literary and critical histories
• Its intersections with Victorian pedagogy, mathematics, and theology
• Its afterlives in translation, politics, digital culture, and adaptations.”

Abstracts (200–300 woorden) kunnen, zoals gezegd tot 15 mei 2025 worden ingediend en wel via deze submission link. De uiteindelijke bijdragen zullen een omvang hebben van ca. 3000 woorden en worden begin 2026 verwacht.

Studies in Lewis Carroll’s Logic
Onder redactie van Amirouche Moktefi, Francine Abeles en Mark Richards zal Springer eind 2026 en bundel uitgeven met artikelen over de logica van Lewis Carroll. Tot 15 mei 2025 kunnen abstracts voor bijdragen aan deze bundel worden ingediend.
